Speaker - Jen Anderson - Alliant Employee Benefits
As Associate Vice President for Alliant Employee Benefits, Jen Anderson’s goal is to simplify the education on how benefits can be strategic and provide different benefit strategies we can use to optimize business goals. Her strength lies in developing relations with client partners and carriers to help companies solve employees’ meaningful problems. Jen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Arts degree in Human Resources from Saint Mary's University. In addition to her education, Jen has earned her Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designations. When Jen was 19, she donated her kidney to her aunt, Judy and started volunteering for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) in 2000. Over the past 20 years, Jen has assumed leadership roles with the NKF and is the acting Chair for the Minnesota Board of Advisors. Jen works with the Advocacy team to pass meaningful legislation to help kidney patients and reduce the barriers to kidney donation.

Speaker - Jennifer Spence - Alliant Employee Benefits
Jennifer is our National Director of Health & Productivity. Jennifer leads the national Health & Productivity practice for Alliant. Her primary responsibilities are the evaluation, implementation and management of clinical programs, consumerism strategies, and prevention initiatives. This includes the analysis of health management programs, network & plan design, coverage policies, workplace policies, communication strategies, and outcome scorecards. Jennifer also collaborates with Alliant’s Health Informatics, Underwriting & Data Analytics, Marketing, and Compliance practices tohelp ensure the most comprehensive solutions and the highest level of service for our clients. Jennifer has over two decades of experience as a health and wellness professional. She holds an MS in Management with a focus on Public Health from Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. Jennifer has also received Alliant’s Employee Leadership Award in 2017.

Speaker - Kryijztoff (Kryz) Novotnaj, CCNP, CPHIMS, MPH, ACNP, DNP - Alliant Employee Benfits
Kryijztoff our Clinical Director as well as employing a team of nurses and pharmacists. Kryz comes to Alliant Insurance Services with nearly 20 years of experience in employee benefits, healthcare and wellness. Kryz has been with Alliant since 2015 and previously held roles in executive clinical consulting and health informatics for regional and national organizations. Kryz has led several key initiatives around analytic reporting using clinical methodology that has assisted employers with understanding their population’s health/illness burden. He has been recognized at the state and local level for innovation around health and wellness, including a congressional award from Congresswoman Lois Capps for his work at Reiter Affiliated Companies. Kryz is also published in the Journal of Agromedicine for his work with food safety and foodborne illnesses. Kryz holds multiple credentials, including a Practical Nurse (LPN) from Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts, a Registered Nurse (RN) from Excelsior College, and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ACNP) from Gonzaga University with a concentration in acute care nursing practice, three designations as a Certified Wellness Specialist (CWS), Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Certified Corporate Nutrition Professional (CCNP). Kryz possesses a B.S. in Applied Science in Healthcare Management from Waldorf College, an M.S. in Public Health with emphasis in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from University of Liverpool, UK. In 2019, Kryz completed his PhD in Nursing Practice at the University of San Diego with an emphasis in infectious disease and health informatics and is pursuing his second PhD in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
